    A bit about the role...

    As the Payroll Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely payment of approximately 1000 employees on a fortnightly basis across various entities. Leading a team of 2 Payroll Officers, your responsibilities will encompass managing the payroll system Aurion, payroll auditing tasks, addressing payroll queries, and managing salary increases. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing superannuation, work cover acquittals and WGEA reporting. Well established business, working within a collaborative team environment.

    An everyday might include some of the below tasks:

    • Extensive end-to-end payroll experience in a large, complex organization.
    • Coordinate and lead the Payroll team, including supervision and training of staff.
    • Oversee the monitoring of legislative and ATO changes and adjust payroll processes and systems to ensure compliance.
    • Develop, streamline and improve the payroll and benefits processes and systems, with appropriate input and support from key stakeholders.
    • Accurately deliver complex payroll, superannuation, reporting and salary packaging transactions.

    This position is permanent full-time based out of the Southport Head Office.

    A bit about you...

    • Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
    • 2-3 years minimum experience in similar role
    • Previous experience using payroll software (Aurion is desirable)
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Intermediate Level on Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong numeracy skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate technical and numerical information to non-technical audience.
    • High level of attention to detail
