About the Role Our Technical Services team has an opportunity for a Specialist – GIS to support Geographical Information Systems at our o perations .

In this role you will gather, manage , process and deliver spatial and non-spatial data in 2 D and 3 D mapping tools while focussing on continuous improvement and increased value for Whitehaven Coal operations .

This is a Brisbane based position on a Monday to Friday roster.

What You'll D o Capture, edit, manipulate, manage and share geospatial data Create and m aintain Web GIS information products and related workflows Develop processes and applications to identify , analyse and consume data from point of truth data sources Facilitate spatial outputs , including high quality mapping, for internal and external stakeholders Work with other GIS professionals to improve GIS processes and data standards What You'll Bring Tertiary qualification in GIS, Geomatics, Spatial Science or Surveying A minimum of 5 years' Arc GIS Pro / Arc GIS Desktop e xperience preferred Experience with creating and managing automated geospatial workflows using Python / M odel Builder and FME Experience with Web GIS / Esri's Arc GIS Platform Why Whitehaven Coal Career Development, Mentorship and Coaching Full Relocation Packages available Salary Sacrifice Opportunities Employee Referral Scheme - $ 4 000 for Successful Referrals 26 Weeks Paid Parental Leave Whitehaven Coal is committed to increasing the representation of women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the workplace.
