Job Description

We are seeking an experienced driver to join our team, working together to achieve our goals. You will have opportunities to travel and develop positive relationships with customers and team members.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current Heavy Combination or Multi-Combination License and have experience as a Road Train Operator. While a Dangerous Goods License is desirable, training can be provided if necessary.

The successful candidate will be based in Port Lincoln, performing duties that include loading, transporting, and unloading bulk petroleum, completing daily pre-start and WHS checks on vehicles and equipment, and following instructions from the Depot manager for daily tasks and timeframes.

Responsibilities

1. Load, transport, and unload bulk petroleum.
2. Complete daily pre-start and WHS checks on vehicle and equipment.
3. Develop positive relationships with team and customers.
4. Follow instructions from Depot manager for daily duties, trip sheet, and timeframes, including work diary and fatigue management.
5. Ensure safety and compliance, adhering to Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements.

Requirements

1. Road train experience.
2. Current HC or MC license.
3. Outstanding customer service.
4. Knowledge of current Work Health and Safety and how to operate a vehicle safely.
5. Willingness to undertake a Police check and medical prior to employment.
