    Job Description

    • Supporting the finance team in daily bookkeeping duties.
    • Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the Accounts Assistant's day-to-day work.
    • Performing reconciliations of accounts and correcting discrepancies.
    • Processing business expenses and managing day-to-day transactions.
    • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
    • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
    • Collaborating with other departments, as necessary.
    • Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures in the health care industry.

    The Successful Applicant

    A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

    • An academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
    • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail.
    • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
    • An ability to work well within a team.
