- Supporting the finance team in daily bookkeeping duties.
- Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the Accounts Assistant's day-to-day work.
- Performing reconciliations of accounts and correcting discrepancies.
- Processing business expenses and managing day-to-day transactions.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments, as necessary.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures in the health care industry.
- An academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- An ability to work well within a team.
