    The Opportunity:
    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced events management and executive assistant to support our NSW Regional Director and the Directors of the Economics & Property within our Sydney office. This is a 12 month maternity leave contract, starting from July 2024 until July 2025.
    We are looking for someone who has an interest in client engagement/events, self-starter, with the right combination of talent, energy and a commitment to excellence, to provide high quality support. You will also have the opportunity to support other team members and seek to add value with new ideas and initiatives to benefit our team.

    You will:
    • Provide executive support to the Directors of the Sydney based Economics & Property team.
    • Coordinate, manage events and functions including proactive management of our calendar of events for the year, booking venues, facilities and entertainment and coordination of attendees consistent with the Urbis brand and desired client experience.
    • Develop and maintain stakeholder relations by establishing a friendly and professional rapport.
    • Connect and knowledge share with Office Services team and peers in other offices to foster a consistent client / event experience.
    • Support business development and regional integrated opportunities activities, working closely with the NSW Regional Director and directors of the Sydney based Economics & Property team.
    • Diary and email management, including the organisation of meetings and travel arrangements.
    About You:
    This position would suit someone who has a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, supporting a number of leaders with a combination of the following competencies:
    • Enjoy working within a vibrant team and collaborating to achieve common business goals.
    • Completion of a secretarial studies/business administration course and/or equivalent
    • Experience in events management, proactively promoting events that benefits the business internally and externally.
    • Intermediate to advanced level of experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, Word & PowerPoint.
    • Attentive, attention to detail and lateral thinking is a must in this key position for the team.
    • Clear, concise and confident communicator, and able to manage expectations and priorities of clients.
    • Eagerness to contribute to administration and project coordination process improvement
