    Kinross College is seeking a strategic, inspiring, and innovative leader to work with the Principal, the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams as they shape the educational future of our students, ensuring the highest standards of educational excellence. As Associate Principal, you will play a pivotal role in our school's continued success as we expand to our first cohort of Year 12 students in 2025.

    The main focus of the role will be to strategically lead Quality Teaching and Learning across the College in line with current strategic and operational planning. This role will be suited to an exemplary and high performing secondary leader who has a strong track record in managing change in developing a culture of reflection, collaboration and innovation in the classroom.

    Kinross College has developed a whole school instructional framework grounded in Explicit Instruction. You should ensure the whole school instructional framework is being delivered with consistency across the classrooms by working with the Leadership Team and teachers to develop a culture of peer observation and feedback. You should be able to model and coach staff to improve effective practice in explicit instruction approaches, and mentor middle leaders to support student outcomes. Supporting staff in the quality curriculum design and assessment practices will also play an integral role in this portfolio. Experience in leading whole school Literacy and Numeracy strategies will be advantageous.
