    About the Opportunity:


    The Shire of Denmark is seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the Waste Operator position within the Shire's Waste & Reserves team.


    Duties performed in this role:
    Operation of Council's rubbish truck for Shire resident refuse collection
    Responsible for managing Council's refuse site on a roster, including reporting, record keeping and taking payments for fees and daily balancing of takings
    Loading and unloading rubbish truck and operating the refuse compacting equipment
    Work autonomously with minimal supervision
    Operate plant and equipment and complete manual tasks whilst maintaining the safety of the team and the public
    Courteous customer service


    About You:
    Experienced truck and loader operator requiring a minimum of a HR Drivers Licence
    Have a strong focus on occupational health and safety in the workplace
    Reliable, punctual and flexible
    Capable of undertaking manual labour
    Have the ability to deliver customer service with confidence and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Be able to multi-task, prioritise workloads and possess strong time management skills
    Solution focused with a 'can do' attitude.
