    About the JCTS
    Joint Colleges Training Services Pty Ltd (JCTS) is a joint venture of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (the RACGP). JCTS will enable RACGP and ACRRM to deliver shared GP training activities for the Colleges' respective fellowship training programs and includes the development and delivery of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health strategic plans, cultural education and cultural mentorship, the provision of registrar housing in some remote Northern Territory and communities and other potential areas of collaboration.

    Cultural Educator
    Location : Northwest QLD
    $90,000 plus 11% super plus full charitable status salary packaging
    You'll have a well-developed sense of personal responsibility and a grounded cultural identity combined with excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills with a commitment to working cross-functionally and collaboratively.

    Medical Educator
    Location: Northwest QLD

    • $153,277 plus super 11% (Clinical 1a –(less than 12 months experience in GP vocational training)
    • $165,354 plus super 11% (Clinical 1b – 1-3 years' experience in GP vocational training)
    • $195,081 plus super 11% (Clinical 1c – 3+ years' experience in GP vocational training)

    *Remuneration ranges are based on 1.0FTE & are periodically reviewed and updated. All roles are plus 11% super plus full charitable status salary packaging

    You'll be a registered medical practitioner AHPRA with fellowship to a generalist medical College. Your significant knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care, along with your demonstrated experience in Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander health and supervision of registrars, will ensure your ability to maintain established relationships within this community. Your passion and commitment to the development of regionally-based medical education initiatives to meet priority community needs will be paramount.

    Program Coordinator
    Location: Northwest QLD
    $90,000 plus 11% super plus full charitable status salary packaging
    You'll have strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and influentially articulate training program requirements to stakeholders. Working collaboratively and part of a team you will manage the coordination of a variety of competing tasks and priorities

    *James Cook University (JCU) Employees: If you are transferring from JCU to a role that is substantially the same as your JCU role, you would continue to receive your current JCU terms and entitlements (including salary). JCTS plans to request Fair Work Commission approval to 'switch off' the JCU Enterprise Agreement for JCTS employees. If approved, employment terms and entitlements will align with the JCTS terms of employment. Prospective employees from JCU will be asked if they support this change during the offer stage and more information will be provided.
