    • Seeking an AHP3 Physiotherapist – Clinical Facilitator with acute hospital experience
    • Full time 18 months position. Part-time in a job share position will be considered.

    About the role

    Calvary Adelaide Hospital is the largest private hospital in South Australia and we are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist – Clinical Facilitator to join our dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team.

    As a member of the multidisciplinary Allied Health team, The Clinical Facilitator for Physiotherapy students actively provides necessary learning opportunities for Undergraduate Physiotherapy Students in designated areas, using a variety of teaching strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver effective clinical education and supervision to support physiotherapy students in their development of practical skills and knowledge
    • Conduct student assessments and provide constructive feedback
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Calvary Adelaide Hospital physiotherapy student education program
    • Provide professional supervision and clinical leadership to students and staff
    • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based and patient centred physiotherapy assessment and management
    • Delivery student and staff professional development
    • Collaborate with other clinical facilitators, healthcare professionals and university to enhance the learning experience
    • Contribute to quality improvement, service review and development initiatives, as well as organisation accreditation

    What you bring:

    • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy, which entitles full registration with AHPRA
    • Minimum of 3 years clinical Physiotherapy experience in the acute setting
    • Previous experience supervising physiotherapy students
    • Extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of different conditions
    • Evidence based knowledge of the range of clinical conditions and services covered and a commitment to update this knowledge on an ongoing basis
    • Enthusiasm to support the physiotherapy team to provide high quality physiotherapy services
    • Excellent communication skills with the desire to be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering integrated and quality healthcare patient outcomes
    • Demonstrated involvement and commitment to relevant professional development
    • Advanced ability to organise, set priorities and manage time effectively
