Your roleThis is a terrific opportunity for an Associate to join a high-performing team and develop their expertise in front and/or back end work in the public infrastructure sector.
Ideally you will have a minimum three years' experience in this area of the law.You will have the opportunity to be trained by the leading Queensland construction team, work on market leading projects and disputes across asset classes including property, health, transport, resources and supporting Queensland's energy transition and Olympic infrastructure.
Your role may involve both:
advisory work on current major projects and transactions in the State; and the management of disputes.
Our TeamMinter Ellison is one of very few firms in the Australian market with a comprehensive integrated Construction, Infrastructure and Project Finance capability capable of handling the complete range of work across the full lifecycle of a project from finance arrangements and business case development to project documentation, contract administration and dispute resolution.
The team's Partners are recognised as leaders in the construction and PPP industry for their commerciality and their depth of knowledge and expertise.
A position within the team therefore offers the opportunity to learn from the best.While this role is based in Brisbane, you will work on a range of projects in Queensland and nationally and there will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national team on large scale projects within other jurisdictions.
Key leaders and mentors will include market leading lawyers Jonathon Williams, Michael Creedon, Sian Keast, David Pearce, Andrew Orford and Julie Whitehead.
What you needWe welcome applications from lawyers with a minimum 3-5 years PQE.Ideally, you will have major projects and infrastructure industry experience and are looking to cement your career in a Tier 1 practice.
