    Assistant Project Manager

    RPS is part of the Tetra Tech Group, a global professional services firm that defines, designs, and manages projects while solving problems that matter to a complex, urbanising, and resource-scarce has an established client side project management consulting business in Australia Asia Pacific, with over 400 project management staff. The RPS Project Management team in Perth currently consists of 45 staff and is continuing to grow. We have a strong workbook for 2024 and beyond, with key long term projects in delivery underwriting our business. RPS is currently tracking a number of live opportunities with our existing clients, including the Department of Defence and Curtin University, for large scale infrastructure and commercial construction based projects. To support this RPS seeks qualified and experienced Assistant Project Managers to join our Perth client-side project management Assistant Project Manager position offers you scope, collaboration, autonomy, challenges, and a place at the front line on major projects.   • Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated recent construction project experience with either client-side, contractor or designer on government or education projects considered desirable.
  • Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.
  • A strong understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts, contract administration and design management experience are highly desirable.
  • Very strong stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook with Microsoft Project desirable.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
