• Prepare, assess, and report on complex Planning Proposals and other relevant application sunder the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Local Government Act 1993 and related legislation.
• Carry out the lodgment of pre-planning and planning proposal applications to ensure applications are complete and meet a high standard that satisfies Council's submission requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines as required including preparation of development control plan amendments.
  
  

Job Title: Senior Strategic Planner

Location: Sydney

Duration: 9 months

Job Requirements

• Prepare, assess, and report on complex Planning Proposals and other relevant application sunder the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Local Government Act 1993 and related legislation.
• Carry out the lodgment of pre-planning and planning proposal applications to ensure applications are complete and meet a high standard that satisfies Council's submission requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines as required including preparation of development control plan amendments.
  
  

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in strategic planning and MUST have a strong understanding around state and Local legislations and frameworks.
