    The City Operational Services Business Unit is has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist - Mechanic to join our busy and dynamic City Resourcing team.

    You will be responsible for assisting with general mechanical maintenance to Council's Fleet, Plant and Equipment.

  • Permanent Full-Time
  • Salary from $62, $ per annum plus 10.5% superannuation
  • Additional allowances in addition to salary include tool allowance and Adverse working allowance

  • What We're Looking For

    Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and/or Automotive Mechanical Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of local government plant and equipment.
  • Current Drivers' License.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of local government plant, equipment and small tools.
  • Understanding of and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and provided detailed information to relevant coordinators and managers.
