    Tea Tree Gully Anglican is a growing evangelical church in the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. By God's grace over the past 17 years, we have grown a vibrant gospel hearted ministry to children, youth and young adults in our area, as well as reaching out to families and the wider church community.

    Tea Tree Gully is part of metro Adelaide with around 100,000 people in the immediate council area. Current ministries we run can be seen on our web site at
    We employed our first "Youth and Young Adults Pastor" in 2015. This ministry has grown significantly over the years, including the establishment of a 6pm service. The job involves responsibility for the 6pm service, leading a "good sized" young adults' ministry, as well as redeveloping our youth ministry.

    Accountability – Senior Pastor
    The successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Senior Pastor. They will be part of a team ministry but will also need to demonstrate the ability to operate independently and with self-motivation.

    Ministry Roles

    Evangelism, Pastoral care & Bible teaching

  • Work with, encourage and train current young adult and youth leaders
  • Provide bible teaching in the context of bible studies and preaching in a variety of contexts
  • Friday night youth group (SWAT youth)

  • Organise, lead and pastor weekly youth group with a team
  • Sundays

  • Weekly at the 6pm service: Main service pastor
  • Preaching on occasional Sundays (where you preach at all three services)
  • Occasional roles in leading at 8:30 & 10am services
  • Employment Conditions

  • The position is full time plus additional hours such as those performed by committed lay people. For the right candidate we would consider breaking this role into 2 P/T roles.
  • Remuneration by negotiation,
  • Four weeks annual leave at 1 FTE would be 28 days – including a maximum of 4 Sundays absent.
  • Study leave – 1 FTE would be 5 days to approved courses / projects
