    Skills :
    Drilling, Wells and Petroleum Engineering

    Knowledge :
    Advancedunderstanding of well engineering and operations including drilling, wellintervention, workover, completions and well abandonment.
    To cover both landand offshore subsea well types, including conventional oil and gas,unconventional shale and tight gas assets.

    Musthave experience in both rig and rigless operations with workover rigs, snubbingunits, coiled tubing, wireline and slickline, casing repairs, remedialcementing, fishing, and artificial lift installations.


    Experience :
    10+years working across a broad range of roles that include office-based designand planning, operations management and wellsite supervision.
    Preferencegiven to candidates who also have a strong digital skillset and projectmanagement skills.

    Education / Training :
    Engineeringor Science degree (Bachelor 3-5 years).
    Well Control certification (current).

    Location:


    Office-based in Perth, Australia but the role willhave a requirement to spend periods at well site for operational supervision asrequired so candidates must be flexible with work location and schedule.

    May berequired to travel to other locations.

    Working Rights :


    Prefercandidate to have current and valid Australian Working Rights, but for asuitable candidate, we may consider providing employer sponsorship for aworking temporary residency visa.


    Position Description:

    • Responsiblefor well delivery process and well operations and design in accordance with Aztech and industry standards.
    • Responsiblefor development of drilling and well programs from conceptual design through toexecution on site.
    • Conduct riskassessments and actively manage risk register.
    • Design andexecute operations with range of artificial lift installation systems.
    • Design andexecute operations requiring a variety of abandonment methods.
    • Design andexecute operations through application of a range of well intervention.techniques such as slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing unit andworkover rigs.
    • Providesupport to Operations Superintendent and act as relief / stand-in when required.
    • Run contract andprocurement process for the selection of suppliers and service contractors.
    • Contractormanagement and liaison with subcontractors.
    • Perform internalaudits and gap analysis for compliance with technical policy and standards.
    • Mentor and manageless experienced team members.

    Selection Criteria:
