What does the job look like?

Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to join the team located in West Melbourne VIC. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for completing rejections for both our Coles and Cold Chain contracts, in line with the business expectations and offering support to both the operation and administration teams. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday, working 9 am - 5 pm. Key areas:

• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to rejections for both Coles and Cold Chain
• Maintaining regular contact with our customers to keep them updated and well informed
• Complete regular yard walks, conduct spot checks on driver tasks including coupling checks, oversee MT Data compliance for tasks such as pre-start checks and fatigue compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong lines of open communication with all stakeholders to ensure the intermodal operations can serve the customers effectively.

Are you the one?

• Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide timely, safe and effective advice to drivers on the road.
• Strong work ethic with a passion for the industry and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience using Excel will be highly regarded.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures.
