    $106,534 - $128,897 About the Role This is a Fixed Term Position for 12 months.

    Join our team as a Business Partner, where you'll collaborate closely with divisional leadership to shape strategic solutions and champion our people agenda.

    In this dynamic role, you'll partner with the Senior P&C Business Partner and branch leadership teams, contributing to the development and implementation of our organization's people strategy.

    Be part of our brilliant culture and supportive team, navigating through change programs and addressing challenging people issues, all while advancing your career in a complex, thriving organization.

    Provide coaching and strategic HR direction to Executives and leadership teams on managing people priorities.

    Including workforce planning and management, talent management, change management and various HR Operations Develop and maintain strong partnerships with executives and managers across the business to identify and respond to trends, people/performance hotspots and emerging business issues and needs.

    Support the Senior PCBP in the alignment and implementation of Group and Divisional People and Culture Plan and Strategy.

    Collaborate and partner with the broader People and Culture team to ensure advice and support is tailored to meet the needs and expectations of the business.

    Contribute to the leadership team of each business area by providing sound advice, being a confidential source of support and by challenging current thinking.

    Collaborate / and contribute to analysis of business areas in collaboration with the Senior Business Partner(S) on any identified opportunities, issues, gaps, risk, or business needs.

    Key Selection Criteria To be successful in the role the ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence in a strategic and balanced way.

    Experience and ability to think and act strategically and provide professional consultancy and advice to leaders and managers.
    Proven ability to initiate, build and maintain strong and effective business partnerships with leadership levels across the organization.
    Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with a sound understanding and appreciation of processes and frameworks.
    Thorough understanding and knowledge of organisational development methodologies and ability to work collaboratively.

    Understanding of and ability to apply complaint and conflict resolution, performance management and grievance resolution methods in line with Policy and VPS practice.

    High level interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a capacity to consult, communicate and influence senior levels of leadership and operational leadership teams.

    Sound judgement and demonstrated experience in strategic and operational decision making.

    Ability to take initiative and drive solutions-focused approaches and be committed to driving innovation and advancing occupational/professional knowledge within the organisation.

    Mandatory Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
    Relevant Industry experience Understanding of the Victorian Government's organisational context and priorities.
