Great opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist with experience in Red Hat and Solaris to work for a large Government Department.
We are currently working with a large Government Department based in Parramatta and due to continuing growth they are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join the Digital Operations team.
As the successful Infrastructure Specialist you will be responsible for using your Linux and Unix experience to help support systems and applications across the organisation.
Position responsibilities:
Implement and oversee infrastructure platform services Work with Digital Services teams to provide information and updates on infrastructure platform services Implement day to day maintenance and monitoring of all infrastructure platform systems and services Provide reporting on operational performance metrics Position requirements: Excellent knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) Operating Systems (5+ years) Previous experience with Unix (Solaris) Operating Systems (5+ years) Experience with scripting (PERL, Shell) will be highly regarded Experience with VMWare will be highly regarded Excellent communication skills Initial 6 months contract.
