Leading Australian environmental consultancy JBS&G has an exciting opportunity for GIS/Spatial/Digital Analysts to join our Perth office in our Digital & Creative Solutions (DCS) team.

About the role

Due to continued success in securing new packages of work, this opportunity will suit candidates with a passion for spatial data, digital technology and data management.

The successful candidate will work with a national team to provide a valuable in-house GIS and data management service to help us maintain our reputation for innovation and quality. You will be encouraged to help develop our technical capabilities through data integration spatial mapping and modelling to provide our clients with accurate and insightful information.

What you will bring to the team:

• Relevant qualification in Environmental Sciences, Remote Sensing or Environmental Engineering with exposure to spatial / data analytics
• Passion for technical excellence, attention to detail, desire to provide solution oriented and praiseworthy client service
• Experience working with a range of data types from different sources and formats
• Ability to work effectively within a small team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
• Working experience with ESRI products desirable, but is not essential
• Professional GIS experience in the environmental, construction or engineering sectors would be desired but is not essential
• A pro-active and self-motivated attitude
• A keenness to learn new skills and enthusiasm for taking on new tasks
• Australia Citizen, Permanent Resident or appropriate Australian Work Visa
