    Our federal government client is seeking a Business Analyst and Junior Business Analyst with a proven record of accomplishment and experience in delivering ICT projects. The roles will work closely with the project sponsor, project manager and internal product owners to assist in the understanding, defining, clarifying and documenting business needs and benefits.

    The key responsibilities are the same for both the Business Analyst and Junior Business Analyst roles, with the only difference being that the Junior Business Analyst will be responsible for simpler tasks.

    • Be accountable for investigating business needs, problems, and opportunities to support and recommend effective business and ICT changes.
    • Work on several projects or initiatives simultaneously.
    • Gather business requirements to understand and map current business processes to identify potential opportunities for system improvement.

    The successful candidate must have:

    • Experience working in an agile environment.
    • Experience in the delivery of COTS products in a cloud environment.
    • Excellent presentation, verbal communication, workshop facilitation and writing skills.
    • Proven experience in requirement gathering and development of acceptance criteria and functional specifications with the ability to apply knowledge of business systems and translate business needs into technical requirements.
