    Description

    The role:


    Reporting to the Program Director (Digital Lead), the Project Director is responsible for delivering large scale, complex, and high-risk IM/ICT projects within the e Health Digital Capital Program.

    The main focus is on providing customer-centric delivery, ensuring project outcomes are achieved, and enterprise solutions are delivered to meet customer needs.

    The Project Director will offer expert advice and strategic input to develop project deliverables that meet quality standards and comply with Queensland Health policies, strategies, and Architecture.

    Requirements:

    • Extensive experience in leading large scale, complex, and high-risk IM/ICT projects
    • High level knowledge and application of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2)
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to develop strategies, frameworks, and plans for informed decision making
    • Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor multidisciplinary project teams
