    Reporting to the Program Manager – Fibre Stewardship and Food Contact the Quality Systems Coordinator/Auditor is tasked with co-ordinating Visy's corporate compliance objectives with specific focus on Quality. This includes building systems and programs to improve the Visy's quality focus and compliance as well as operating as a lead auditor for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and ISO 9001 requirements. This role would entail frequent travel to our sites nationally for audits.

    The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead Visy's Corporate quality focus, devising systems to harmonize and enhance ISO9001 compliance.
  • Develop and implement systems and documentation aligned with relevant local and international standards.
  • Actively participate in projects aimed at bolstering Visy's compliance with all pertinent international standards.
  • Oversee system and compliance management, ensuring risks are identified, improved, and effectively communicated through Management Reviews.
  • Conduct audits of Visy sites, suppliers, and outsourced services for FSC, PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), and Quality standards, and provide comprehensive reports on findings. Ensure identified conformance issues are diligently tracked through action plans to resolution.
  • Review, test, and update system documentation and process compliance to uphold best practices and certifications.
  • What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous experience in compliance auditing, preferably within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
  • Lead auditor qualification in Quality or Environmental management systems and audit experience (Internal & External)
  • Strong understanding maintaining and enhancing systems (ISO etc) and knowledge of applicable standards
  • Familiarity with FSC and PEFC Standards
  • Knowledge of relevant local and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
