    The Company

    My client is a leading FMCG company with an impressive history of supplying products across Australia. Famous for their high-quality products and excellent reputation in the food industry they aim to continue to be best-in-class. With the drive to continue to improve they require a Procurement Analyst to provide strategic leadership and increase the performance of their procurement function.

    The Role

    Reporting to the GM Procurement and sitting in the Procurement team your responsibilities will include;

    • Be responsible for the full end-to-end procurement for direct/indirect categories and their spend associated with each.
    • Deliver sourcing activities ranging from simple RFQ to complex tenders to maximize commercial, operational and ESG outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities, through spending analysis and partnering with Business Units
    • Plan and execute sourcing activities and commercial negotiations in line with the business processes
    • Deliver on all ESG standards
    • Build and Maintain effective Supplier and Internal Relationships.

    Your Background:

    In order to be successful in this role you will be;

    • Highly skilled at the preparation and execution of complex commercial negotiations.
    • Exceptional ability to manipulate master data, crunch the numbers to identify spend trends and opportunities.
    • Contribute to Procurement Strategy and Framework development and assist in leading organizational change.
    • Extensive experience in undertaking procurement activities, ideally across a diverse range of categories.
    • Food experience within FMCG is desirable
    • Ability to present and influence ideas/findings to C-suite.
