    The RAC Insurance Risk and Compliance Team is a Line 2 team who support the RAC Insurance business. We provide advice and guidance to facilitate informed risk-based decision making. This enables better business and member outcomes and protects our licence to operate.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic risk and compliance professional to support our regulatory change journey and provide risk and compliance advisory services to our internal partners on an initial 12month Contract.

    We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Proven experience working in a risk and compliance function, or related role.
  • Experience across financial services and insurance advantageous, but other regulated industries considered.
  • Passionate about risk and compliance; able to advise and influence to drive risk culture improvement.
  • Regulatory uplift / change management experience highly regarded.

  • You have a curiosity to learn and understand how the business operates and experience in risk and / compliance, ideally with exposure in financial services or other regulated industry.
  • You have an ability to work autonomously, manage a diverse workload and meet competing deadlines
  • An analytical mind able to see complexities of procedures and regulations and present practical solutions
  • Previous experience in compliance framework management, assessments, and reporting
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships and communicate clearly with senior internal stakeholders
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider the critical business needs
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory issues affecting the insurance and financial services industry considered advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of APRA standards and ASIC regulatory guides considered advantageous
