- Assist the laboratory with general housekeeping duties, chemical decanting and waste removal.
- Effluent collection and #1 Mill cleaning.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and making adjustments to the boiler and cooling tower chemical dosing systems, under the guidance of the Technical Assistant.
- Provide assistance in the cleaning of mills and/or evaporator/filter station operation on maintenance days.
- General housekeeping of the water treatment areas.
- Check on and take corrective action to maintain the starch enzyme (Amylase) and evaporator anti scale dosing systems, in consultation with the evaporator operator.
- Spraying of pesticides/herbicides around factory grounds.
- Mowing of grounds.
