Group Financial Controller - Australian Manufacturing Company Pinches Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Financial Controller to oversee Financial Operations of our group of companies.

Pinches Group incorporates a number of manufacturing companies across Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand.

Pinches' primary business is the meat rendering and processing industries, and together with our Sydney based division, Keith Engineering, is the leading supplier of meat rendering equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Pinches Group also incorporates a wholesale welding product distribution business, start-up investments, commercial property holdings and an active research and development arm.

Qualifications and Experience5+ years of experience in a similar role(s) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is preferable)Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting Experience with Australian tax laws Advanced knowledge of trusts Experience in accounting for multiple entities Tasks & responsibilities Monitoring and maintaining multiple bank accounts.

Calculating, preparing and lodging taxes (payroll, withholding tax, BAS returns and FBT).
Preparing end of year accounts for external accountants for multiple entities.
Preparing Annual income tax review Balancing, preparing, and maintaining monthly general ledger accounts. Creating quarterly consolidated financial reports.
Maintaining the asset register.
Liaising and negotiating with the bank on financing, bank guarantees and interest rates.
Provide financial advice and support to key personnel including the Managing Director.
Facilitating payroll, and super contributions as required Budgeting for the financial year.
Liaising with external accountants and financial advisors.
Managing loan accounts.
