- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA (or equivalent) certification
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Media or Technology industry
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience using NetSuite or other large scale ERP system
- Experience with SOX
- Business partnering with non-financial departments of the company.
- Own month-end process for accruals, provisions, prepayments, and fixed assets/depreciation.
- Intercompany journals and reconciliations.
- Revenue invoicing.
- Process month-end/year-end close, by posting journal entries and preparing account reconciliations.
- Assist with audit and tax reporting requests and audits.
- Prepare BAS & WHT remittance information for ATO.
- Monthly credit card reconciliations and staff reimbursements.
- Prepare monthly financial analyses to assist business with operational decision making.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc requests.

About The Team
The Crunchyroll Accounting Team is a global organization of nearly 50 professionals working together to support all of our critical business functions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policy and regulatory bodies. As part of the accounting leadership team, this individual is joining during a period of significant transformation and will have an opportunity to help build out an outstanding team and processes to help the company achieve our goals for global growth in both the near and long term
This role is located in our Melbourne office and adopts a hybrid schedule. As the Sr Accountant you will report to the Australia Controller.
