    About the Opportunity:

    As a member of the Lindsay Management Team and reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, the People Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping out and delivering an extensive transformation of the People function to support the existing business and its continued growth.

    We are a people centric business, full of no-nonsense, committed and hard-working individuals. Our People Manager will be akin to this style. They will work at pace, are practical and operationally focused, and can comfortably connect with individuals across all levels of the business. By capably partnering with operational and functional area leads, our People Manager will help build leadership across all levels whilst holding accountability for and project managing the delivery of value adding HR/ER services, solutions and systems.

    An excellent communicator, analytical and creative in nature, they will hold a track record of working effectively with ambiguity and simplifying complexity. They will be tenacious, have a nose for risk and sharp institution to apply the 'just right' level of response to support our people and the business. Forward-thinking, they'll implement simple and relevant initiatives that positively impact our people and culture and reinforce our reputation as a company people want to work in and stick with.

    This role will suit a strong Human Resource generalist with a specialisation in ER Advisory, Learning & Leadership and/or Change Management. Experience in a heavy blue-collar sector and in a similar level role is essential, as our People Manager will oversee the day-to-day management and mentorship of a small HR team and partner strongly with operational leads.

    As our People Manager, others can rely, trust and count on you, as you understand that relationships and your reputation of "doing and delivering what you say you will do" is the foundations of your success. You will be strongly supported by the Head of Corporate Services (and partner closely with the Payroll Manager) and will be involved in the People function strategic planning and execution. You will lead by example, have a positive mindset and great energy to nurture a performance-based culture where all individuals act like owners.

    This position is based in our Corporate Office in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane QLD and some travel will be required in the role.
