    Description

    You will provide supervision and leadership within State Property Unit, supervising the state-wide network of Vehicle Impoundment Coordinators The State Property Unit is based in Brisbane City, however consideration will be given to applicants in other geographic areas of Queensland. Flexible work options will also be considered. The work unit involves state-wide overview, and there will be intrastate travel required on occasions.

    The core capability requirements for this role are:


    • Identify opportunities to develop and improve processes, procedures and State Property Unit frameworks, promoting quality control, consistency and continual improvement.

    • Undertake research and analysis to progress business improvement recommendations, including presenting key findings to the State Property Unit Senior and Executive Leadership team.

    • Provide input into operational and action plans, strategies and continuous improvement projects, across State Property Unit.

    • Manage team training requirements, monitor performance and undertake State Property Unit workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and performance development activities and initiatives.

    • Prepare quality reporting, briefing material and advice to senior management on business improvement initiatives and activities, including benefits realisation.

    • Provide advice on State Property Unit organisational management and business improvement activities in relation to vehicle impoundment and seizure, business needs and ensuring the Unit is compliant with relevant legislation, policy and procedures for the QPS, changes in technology, business needs, and/or changes in legislation.

    • Cultivate relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders and service providers in line with desired legislation outcomes and represent the State Property Unit in internal and external committees and meetings.
