    OCI Incident Response is the first line of defense for maintaining high availability of Oracle's cloud. We make customer impacting events shorter, less frequent, and less impactful by providing large scale incident management. We are front-and-center in driving down event duration by utilizing our operational experience, knowledge of best practices, and ability to develop tools to automate incident management.

    We are looking for a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to join OCI's Major Incident Management team. This role is part of a globally distributed team responsible for detecting, triaging, and mitigating OCI service-impacting events as quickly as possible. You will be a part of one of these regional teams and be responsible for minimizing downtime of OCI services. You will achieve this through delivering excellent major incident management processes and by delivering systems with high scalability, performance, and security that prevent incidents from occurring. You will influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement improvements based on insights derived from reporting and scorecards. You will utilize your program management skills to coordinate complex initiatives, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achieved within established timelines.

    Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Program Manager, with a proven track record of leading organizational change towards DevOps methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of change best practices, particularly in identifying and rectifying missing or broken mechanisms in advanced change management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and partners.
  • Proven track record to drive and implement change initiatives at scale, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in developing reporting mechanisms and scorecards to measure and optimize change safety and speed.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to evolve policies and tools to facilitate fast and secure changes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
