    • PACCT 4 - $62,687 per annum (exclusive of superannuation)

    About the role:

    The Enrolment and Discrepancy Administrator supports the enrolment of students for Box Hill Institute, undertaking enrolment and specialist enrolment-related tasks. The role also undertakes higher-level analysis and problem solving of enrolment-related discrepancies arising, to bring issues to a resolution, whilst ensuring both Institute and government administrative requirements are met, and to ensure the enrolment is closed off as quickly as possible.

    The Enrolment and Discrepancy Administrator is a member of the Student Administration Team within Registrar's Centre in Academic Affairs. This position is responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across BHI, and liaising with relevant external stakeholders, including employers for invoicing during peaks. The role also provides expertise, advice and coaching to support casual teams during peak intake periods to aid the achievement of processing targets.

    About You:

    • An Advanced Diploma in Administration, Accounting or related field.
    • Experience in a similar setting and an understanding of the TAFE and Higher Education system.
    • Conceptual and Analytical Ability with dealing with concepts and complexity comfortably using analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems. Good problem solving skills with the ability to interpret government policy and apply it to BHI context.
    • Proven knowledge of and experience in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Identifies and understands the long- term impact of particular courses of action on the work area's objectives.
    • Ability to work without supervision, high level attention to detail and initiative, and the ability to manage workload during peak times.
    • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications in a similar role. Expertise as a higher level user in StudentOne is essential.
    • Detects the underlying concerns, interests or emotions that lie behind what is being said and done. Presents as genuine and sincere when dealing with others and projects an objective view of anothers position. Uses understanding of individuals to get the best outcomes for the person and for the work area.
