    Who are we looking for?

    We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Water Group .

    In Western Australia, our 90-year partnership with the water sector has cultivated strong client relationships and a deep understanding of their challenges, equipping us to assist them in preparing for what lies ahead. Our team is very well known for water infrastructure and water resources engineering and science consulting, collaborating with industry leaders like Water Authorities, major mining firms, and Defense, among others.     Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Participating in a range of activities from feasibility and concept design studies to detailed design.
  • Participating in a range of projects from small consultancy tasks to major multi-discipline projects.
  • Participating in a variety of design activities such as preparing load lists, equipment lists, single line diagrams, protection grading curves, cable and conduit layouts, cabler schedules, cost estimates, design reports, and tender specifications.
  • Participating in a variety of technical calculations such as Maximum Demand calculations, Cable sizing calculations, Arc Fault Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Earthing Design, Fault studies, and Motor Flicker Analysis.
  • What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of design experience.
  • Self-motivation, with excellent time management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Design experience in high and low-voltage power systems with a proven understanding of switchboard designs, transformers, variable speed drive systems, harmonic mitigation, protection system studies, and earthing.
  • Experience in the preparation of reports and specifications.
  • Fully conversant with Australian Standards, Electrical Acts, and Regulations.
  • Registration with Engineers Australia is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Water Corporation standards is desirable.
