    About the role ARRCS Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility, located in Palmerston is actively sourcing a skilled Leisure and Lifestyle (Activities) Officer to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis working hours of 8.00am-16.30pm Monday, Thursday and Friday.

    Located in Palmerston and walking distance from the Palmerston Bus Depot.
    Terrace Gardens is an 88-bed residential aged care home.

    This exciting position will see you working with an engaged and hard-working team as you prepare and deliver both mental and physical activities to our residents.

    This will include both on-site and off-site activities such as visits to the shopping centres, parks, recreational facilities etc.
    As the successful candidate, you will have a passion to working with an supporting the elderly.
    You will be supportive in your approach and understand how important mental and physical stimulation is for our residents.

    It is preferred that you have a Certificate III in Lifestyle / Activities or a similar discipline such as Aged Care or Individual care however, not essential.

    Positive attitude and willingness to learn within the Aged Care and Community Care industry.
    Ability to work part-time hours as stated in advertisement.
    Maturity to work autonomously with at times, minimal supervision.
