    As the SeniorManager, Strategic Insights, you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of work produced by insights managers and data scientists working within the Tribe. This role provides leadership and guidance around Insights work for Qantas Insurance (Health, Car, Home & Travel). The role is also responsible for owning and influencing key stakeholders (Tribe leadership, enabler teams, vendor teams), as well as driving and influencing prioritisation of high value initiatives across the Analytics chapter.

    Beyond Tribe responsibilities, this role will also be key in Chapter management for the Research and Insights Chapter and will help with the development of people and knowledge management.

    What you'll bring to the role:

    • 4+ years of management experience in relevant industries, consulting or analytical
    • Degree-level qualifications, with preference for degrees in economics, applied statistics or a related analytical field
    • Strong commercial acumen and experience in leading projects with external vendors and partners
    • Prior experience in using visualization tools such as Tableau desired
    • Extensive experience in extracting and manipulating large volume data with SQL, with direct experience with the Teradata platform preferred
    • Previous experience in turning raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations, with a proven track record of success
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to developed insights and recommendations
    • Commitment, professionalism, respect and a 'can-do' attitude in any situation
    • Belief in the value of coaching your direct reports and of investing in building an effective and attractive team culture
    • Proven ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, both in verbal and written formats
    • Strong capability of managing and prioritising several competing tasks for different stakeholders
