    About the business QPTS provide support to the Australian mining and industrial sectors, and we have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team You will be joining our shutdown circuit, mobilising from Perth, with ongoing work throughout 2023 Your duties Delivering maintenance support to an array of mining operators, predominately focusing on conveyor belt componentsCarrying out the installation of new equipment, or making modifications to existing equipmentAssisting in the execution of daily, weekly, monthly work plans and schedulesAssisting with shutdown coordination and executionMaintaining a high level of safety awareness and comply with company policies and procedures About you We are looking for experienced mechanical fitters, with the relevant qualifications, who have had significant exposure to conveyor belt maintenance


    Specifically, you will have:
    Cert III/Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting/Fitter and TurnerRelevant experience as a mechanical fitter post apprenticeshipExposure to the mining industry is desirableA think safe, work safe mind setCan-do and solutions-based attitudeAbility to work autonomously, working toward a common goal What is in it for you: Competitive hourly rate ($47-60/hour, depending on experience)Full time permanent positionFlexibility to accept work to suit your lifestyleWorking for a reputable global organisationOngoing support from the entire QPTS team
