Do you want to provide contemporary mental health care to women? Are you interested in being part of something new? Do you want to see mental health care delivered in a different way?

Ramsay Mental Health is excited to collaborate with Alfred Health and Goulburn Valley Health to provide the Women's Recovery Network (WREN). We are now recruiting for a Senior Clinician to join our HiTH team.

This is an opportunity to be involved in innovative ground-breaking service delivery for the Victorian mental health sector.

WREN is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission recommendations for partnerships between the public and private sector, and the need for gender segregation and sexually safe environments. We recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support.

    • Our mission is to deliver exceptional mental health care
    • Hone your skills as part of our dedicated, multi-disciplinary team
    • Balance your life with our flexible working arrangements
    • Grow your career in a supportive, nurturing environment

    About the Role

The Royal Commission recommended that there was a need to address gender-based harm within mental health settings and dedicated gender-based services should be established. They also identified that public and private services could work more closely to provide care to more people. In this role you will be working in a NEW venture providing mental health care and support for women, in a dedicated public-private partnership. You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing holistic, patient-centred recovery-focused care.

This is a state-wide service providing care to women from across Victoria through both inpatient and hospital-in-the-home services.

We are proud to be able to provide learning opportunities with both Ramsay Mental Health and Alfred Health to all staff working within this service.

    About You

You love the challenge, and the satisfaction, of working at the top level of practice in mental health care.

    • Qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Allied Health (OT / SW)
    • Minimum of 5 years clinical mental health experience
    • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
    • Interest and ability to work in a specialist woman's service

    Remuneration

Remuneration will be as per the Ramsay Health Care (Victoria) Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement or Allied Health Equivalent)

    Requirements

    • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
    • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
