    As a Speech Pathologist with our team, you'll have the opportunity to negotiate working from home when appropriate to your caseload. We provide formalised supervision, peer-to-peer support and attendance at regular therapy forums, as well as structured internal training and support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide high-quality Speech Pathology assessment and intervention services that are evidence-based and solutions-focused.
    • Manage a mixed caseload with complex and varied needs, working with customers of all ages, their families and carers to identify strengths, skills and goals.
    • Use appropriate assessment tools and methods to assess strengths and areas of development, identifying suitable intervention strategies.
    • Deliver therapy in various environments, including centre-based, schools/preschools, group homes, homes and via telehealth, while embodying Northcott values: 'innovative, respectful and brave'.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
    • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
    • Experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and/or adult caseload.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient and effective manner.
    • An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee-for-service model is desired.
    • Able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
