    Job Title: Executive Support and Administrative Excellence Lead

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly trusted and confidential senior role that leads best practice in executive support and administrative excellence. This is a critical position that provides quality executive and administrative services and support to the CEO, Mayor, Councillors, and key internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing quality executive and administrative services and support to the CEO, Mayor, Councillors, and key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Undertaking research and delivery of special projects as requested and in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team to achieve strategic and operational goals.
    • Proactively leading a support team to be accountable and focus on priorities in a people-centric manner.
    • Leading initiatives that contribute to and foster a positive and constructive culture that is strongly aligned with City of Launceston's Values.

    About You:

    You are a highly organised, results-driven, and customer and community-oriented leader with a demonstrable track record of success as an Executive Administrator. You have proven experience in leading a team within a sizeable organisation. Exemplary attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management are assumed, along with outstanding verbal and written communications skills and computer literacy.

    About the Role:

    This is a unique opportunity to lead and coordinate executive support provided to the CEO, Mayor, and Councillors, and facilitate positive relationships across the organisation. Reporting to a highly driven and visionary CEO, you will work closely with a small capable team to achieve strategic and operational goals.
