    About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our Queensland team due to an internal promotion. This full-time position offers the exciting opportunity to manage and deliver a variety of impactful modular construction projects that will help shape the future of modular methods in Australia. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project plans, managing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead the supervision of construction workers and subcontractors, manage resources, estimate project requirements, and ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Your role will involve constant collaboration with internal stakeholders, managing project timelines, handling budget and cost control, and ensuring risk management processes are followed. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in modular construction.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

    1. Manage projects to completion on time, within budget and to specified quality, safety and environmental standards.
    2. Consult with internal stakeholders to fully identify the scope of projects and obtain project approvals.
    3. Develop and maintain a construction program and monitor progress.
    4. Manage, forecast, monitor, control and report on project financial performance.
    5. Plan, monitor, control and report against multiple project timelines and milestones.
    6. Manage sub-contracts in a professional manner to promote long-term relationships with key providers.
    7. Interpret building plans, regulations and code of practice in order to direct the progress of work.
    8. Monitor compliance with construction documents, ensuring that specifications and regulations are followed, and proper methods and materials are used.
    9. Direct, assist and support project staff.
    10. Act as the central point of contact between the Business Development Team and Construction Team.
    About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organised and results-driven Project Manager with strong leadership abilities. You will have a proven track record in managing and delivering projects within budget and on schedule, ideally within modular or commercial construction environments. Previous experience in mining or education projects is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of contractual requirements. You will possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders alike. Your commitment to quality and safety will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards. Additionally, you will demonstrate a hands-on approach to managing teams and subcontractors, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently delivering successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
    1. Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Construction Management, or other relevant qualification in construction disciplines is advantageous.
    2. 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within the construction sector.
    3. Experience in major mining project delivery and/or education projects is highly regarded.
    4. Strong contractual skills.
    5. Knowledge of project management principles, building codes and construction methodologies.
    6. Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental regulations.
    7. Time management skills with an ability to work under pressure and plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
    8. Intermediate computer literacy including MS suite of programs (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (Navision) would be an advantage.
    9. Commitment to the efficient and effective delivery of quality customer service.
    10. Affiliation with Construction Industry organisations is desirable.
    Why work for Fleetwood?
    1. Be part of an exciting transformative time in our business, on a trajectory of growth.
    2. Join our values-led culture, where Collaboration, Integrity, Accountability, Zero Harm and Growth through Innovation are at the heart of how we work and lead.
    3. Access opportunities for professional and career development across our group of companies; Fleetwood is an ASX listed company and industry leader.
    4. Access flexible work options that support your productivity and wellbeing.
    5. Access company benefits and discounts.
    6. Fantastic salary package including company vehicle and inclusion in our sales incentive program.
All successful applicants may be required to complete a functional medical including drug & alcohol assessment.

All final applicants for this position will be asked to consent to a National Police check. Applicants with criminal records are not automatically excluded from applying for this position and each application will be considered on its merits.
