    About Us

    Construction is now well underway for our new Moorebank RDC (MoRDC). Located in Moorebank NSW, MoRDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 84,000 sqm facility will strengthen Primary Connect's NSW supply chain and service more than 350 Woolworths Supermarkets, with over 9,000 product lines. We will be partnering with Vanderlande, who are a market-leading, global partner for process automation in the warehousing industry.

    What you'll do

    • Work alongside the Automation supplier to ensure correct operation and consistency across multiple components of the Automated material handling system
    • Ensuring the material flow, identifying issues early on, and reporting progress to the site test team
    • Supporting the execution of our Automation Test Strategy
    • Observation and record the PLC and Low Level Control functionality
    • Identify and coordinate any requirement for upcoming tests or activities, including people and material handling equipment.
    • Validate physical stock movements and flow, ensuring that our automation systems are functioning at their optimal level.

    What you'll bring:

    • Previous exposure to Automated Material handling systems
    • Background as a control room operator/ Flow analyst
    • Experience with reviewing equipment specification documents
    • Prior participation in the installation, commissioning or testing of a material handling system
    • Experience with executing User Acceptance Testing
