About the Opportunity
The General Manager position involves setting and steering the company's strategic and operational direction. Key responsibilities encompass the execution of the overarching strategic plan and efficiently managing the daily operations of the business and its associated entities. Business and operational functions must be smoothly coordinated, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. A significant part of this role is upholding the company's existing culture while nurturing and enhancing it. By the end of the first year, the General Manager is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of all business facets and have cultivated strong internal and external relationships. Success in this role will lead to assuming the primary leadership position of this leading business.
About You
You are an experienced operational leader with proven P&L management expertise.
You will have a background related to residential construction sector, and experience leading and developing a team. Your ability to communicate strategies effectively to a diverse audience, negotiate with construction partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, and quickly build rapport with stakeholders will set you apart. You will be based in, or happy to relocate to Albury, NSW .
