Job Summary:
Individual Life Value Streams Continuous Delivery. Mapped to the Claims function.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and functionality.
Develop and document detailed test plans and BDD test cases based on functional specifications/business requirements/ user stories
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
Execute exploratory functional and automated regression tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Report and track defects using defect management tools and ensure proper resolution.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential improvements.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and ensure compliance with testing standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Be proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr or similar tools
Conduct API, system, integration, cross browser, UAT testing & support post implementation testing

Key Skills:

Selenium for UI Testing:

Proficient in writing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver.
Familiar with Selenium Grid for parallel test execution.
Ability to identify web elements using various locators like ID, XPath, CSS Selectors, etc.
Knowledge of at least one programming language supported by Selenium (Preferably C#).
Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for test maintenance and readability.

API Testing:

Strong understanding of RESTful services and HTTP methods.
Experience in creating and executing API tests using Postman ,RestSharp.
Ability to perform data-driven testing using RestSharp and NUnit.
Familiarity with serialization and deserialization of JSON/XML responses.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques in API testing.

SpecFlow for BDD:

Proficient in writing Gherkin scenarios and implementing step definitions.
Familiarity with SpecFlow hooks and tags for controlling test execution.
Ability to integrate SpecFlow with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

CI/CD:

Experience with source control management tools like Git, Azure Devops.

Other Requirements:

Atleast 5+ years of experience in software testing & automation
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong communication skills
excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
good knowledge/ working experience in insurance/ finance domains

Experience with testing Cloud-hosted apps
Exposure to automation using Playwright or performance testing using JMETER
Generate and provide test reports covering key metrics like test coverage, traceability, defect leakage, etc
Mobile & accessibility testing experience
