    Explore an exciting opportunity as a Clinical Governance Manager with our esteemed client, a boutique family-run aged care facility in a warm community located 40 minutes from Gympie, QLD.

    We are seeking a dynamic individual with 5+ years of senior clinical leadership or Clinical Nurse experience to lead and inspire the team.

    As a Clinical Governance Manager / Facility Manager you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with quality systems, managing clinical safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing risk assessment, incident reporting, and collaboration with the Executive Team to maintain Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead compliance with Aged Care Accreditation Standards and quality systems
    • Oversee clinical safety, risk assessment, and incident management
    • Manage infection prevention and control
    • Audit and ensure compliance with regulatory processes
    • Drive continuous improvement in clinical procedures
    • Contribute to the Clinical Care Committee and NQIP program
    • Identify and respond to serious incidents, ensuring reporting compliance
    • Support external regulator reviews/audits and implement governance systems
    • Lead on-site operations in collaboration with the Executive Team

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior Clinical leadership or as a Clinical Nurse
    • Highly regarded experience in Clinical Governance within an Aged Care setting
    • Strong communication skills & computer literacy
    • Desirable experience and knowledge of iCare – Telstra Clinical Manager System
    • High level of computer literacy
    • Excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
    • Strong team player with effective communication and leadership skills
    • Compassionate, dedicated, and able to build strong rapport with consumers
    • Ability to liaise, consult, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
    • Demonstrated experience in coordinating clinical and quality audits using continuous improvement principles
    • Knowledge of Aged Care Standards and current legislative requirements
