    Individual Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of data engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various teams, including data owners, analytics engineers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data pipelines.
  • Design and Build Data Pipelines: Utilize your technical proficiency to design and construct data pipelines that enable seamless data integration from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
  • Maintain Data Infrastructure: Continuously optimize and enhance the data infrastructure to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance, while adhering to best practices.
  • Foster a Data-Driven Culture: Promote the use of data-driven decision-making by empowering teams with access to accurate and timely data through well-structured pipelines.
  • Stay Current with Data Engineering Trends: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into our data engineering practices.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Solid experience with data technology stack: Snowflake, AWS, Python and SQL Server, T-SQL
  • Capabilities

  • Demonstrated experience in data engineering with a track record of delivering successful data solutions.
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud services, Snowflake, Athena, Glue, DBT, and S3 for data storage, processing, and transformation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and ETL.
  • Solid knowledge of database technologies – T-SQL, data modelling and data warehouse methodologies
