    About the opportunity

    Reporting to the Accounting Controller, the Accounting Manager is a key leader within FSS. The purpose of this role is to lead and develop a team to partner with the various business partners and functions in various aspects of our financials, including monthly consolidation of the Endeavour Group, partnership invoicing, communication of risks and opportunities in the balance sheet, provision of accounting advice and process improvement.

    What you'll do

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead and oversee the monthly Endeavour Group consolidation including preparation of the cash flow
    • Lead and oversee all partnership agreements between Woolworths and Endeavour, including any new businesses within the Woolworths ecosystem
    • Coordinate financial statement analysis for half yearly external reporting to the Board and for external reporting
    • Lead and coach team and business partner across multiple finance teams

    What you'll bring

    In Finance we have an overarching capability framework that brings to life 5 key capabilities that shape who we are, what we do and how we work together, these are; value co-creator, inspiring leader, trusted advisor, agile learner and insights generator. We are looking forward to hearing how you may have demonstrated these capabilities whilst also thinking about your experience in:

    • CA or CPA qualification with at least 5+ years post qualification experience
    • Strong technical accounting skills with a preferred experience within consolidation reporting
    • Advanced experience in developing and supporting teams, ability to engage, motivate and inspire others
    • Ability to build trusting and effective relationships with various business partners
    • Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
