• $1200 paid daily or 65% of billings plus travel, car and accommodation support

The Opportunity

Working Monday to Friday between 0900 – 1730, in this Ochre Health clinic will find 15 minute standard consultation times and Best Practice software in use. With no weekend work or on-call, you will work alongside the GP VMO's who will be the one's to cover the emergency cases. On occasions, there may be a requirement to support the registrars in the practice as well.

As the only private medical centre in Queenstown, it is attached to the hospital and aged care facility. The practice has the capacity for three full-time doctors who are supported by a full-time Chronic Disease Management trained Registered Nurse and practice staff.

Cover is required across the following dates: 13 May – 31 May | 11 Jun – 28 Jun | 8 Jul – 19 Jul | 5 Aug – 20 Sep |30 Sep - 8 Nov

The Location

Once one of the richest mining towns, Queenstown is the largest settlement on the West Coast. It is experiencing a rebirth with growing tourism and art culture and offers many beautiful walking tracks in the surrounding areas.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for the role, you must have a specialist registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RACGP.
