- Play a central role in the planning, delivery and tracking of strategic goals across the Retail Markets business.

- Build an in-depth understanding of Alinta Energy's strategic environment, the Retail Markets strategy and identify areas of focus for action.
- Facilitate the shaping and delivery of impactful initiatives with direct linkage to strategic goals and aligned KPIs.
- Establish an appropriate governance model and operating rhythm for delivery across the portfolio, including oversight and uplift of an agile delivery function.
- Track delivery progress against the strategy and prepare meaningful status reports, insights, and recommendations for presentation to senior management.
- Coach, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities for direct reports.
- Significant experience in a Portfolio Management, strategic planning, or similar role, preferably in a management consulting, corporate strategy, or business transformation context.
- Highly proficient in portfolio/program/project management with a record of delivering results.
- Knowledge and application of agile methodologies and scaled agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Excellent influencing, facilitation, and negotiation skills with ability to develop trust with stakeholders and motivate teams.
- High degree of commercial acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to break down complex challenges, draw connection to customer and business outcomes, and present strategic options for consideration.

About the role:
The Senior Manager, Retail Delivery plays a critical role in the shaping and delivery of strategic outcomes for the Retail Markets business, through the effective preparation and portfolio management of our Strategic Work Plan. The portfolio spans a diverse range of large and smaller-scale initiatives as well as multiple agile sqauds/Product Teams. Leading a small team of Retail Delivery Leads, you will work as a strategic partner to General Managers and functional leaders to understand strategic objectives and levers, and design actionable initiatives linked to clear value metrics.
