Our mission is to help fleet operators establish an accountable and structured solution to driver management.

    As we continue to experience growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Strategic Project Manager (SPM), the Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and administering the day-to-day operations of the solutions project portfolio. This will involve working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of Optix's safety management solutions to clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting the SPM with delivery and management of the project portfolio.
    • Project coordination and support including project set up, quoting/ordering goods and materials, managing all project documentation, Project Plans, Gantt charts, financials, and creation and management of project schedules.
    • Create, track, and monitor purchase orders, invoices, and budgets across all projects.
    • Preparation of reports for internal and external consumption.
    • Identify improvement opportunities in Optix's general operations or processes and provide/implement solutions in a timely manner.

    About You

    We are currently seeking a candidate who demonstrates a deep passion for effectively engaging with both staff and customers, exhibits exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, and consistently delivers outstanding customer service. You will also have:

    • Tertiary qualification in project management or similar field, or equivalent industry experience.
    • 3-5 Years work experience is preferable.
    • Be self-starting and be able to work autonomously.
    • Strong skills with scheduling and planning tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Project Management Tools or similar applications.
    • Fluent in the use of MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
    • Experience with identification and interpretation of client requirements and providing accurate and timely advice.
    • Ability to make independent judgements, identify information needs and contribute to strategies and improvements.

    Candidate should be open to travelling to client premises / operations for meetings, onsite support, and coordination of project deliverables.
