    Description

    We are currently recruiting a Senior Facilities Engineer to join a well-known Global Oil & Gas Organisation in the Perth CBD on a 2 year fixed term contract.

    The successful candidate in this position will analyse, interpret and report on technical, project and operational issues with the view to managing long term asset health, while commercialising the asset in an optimal manner.

    This position requires broad capability in technical aspects in combination with project development, execution and operations including cost, schedule, risk and asset management

    Main Duties:


    Participate in joint venture activities for oil and gas resource exploration, development and operations projects across company's assets:Attend JV meetings as representative of this company.

    Deep-dive understanding of onshore and offshore facilities (process, mechanical, electrical etc) issues and project issues across company's assetsProvide technical advice and guidance to Operating companies, where requiredDevelop strong relationships with JV partners through developing networks with counterparts in JV partner companiesAnalyse technical, cost and schedule documentation provided to the Company related to basis of design, contracting, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operationsProvide project engineering/management and facilities supportMonitor cost and schedule reporting from OperatorProvide facilities engineering and project management assistance to BusinessDevelopment team:Provide guidance in project development phases (feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED, execute) and decision gate processesAssess and evaluate potential development concepts, including technical, cost, schedule and risk evaluationAssist with any asset due diligence assessments, including technical and risk assessmentsAssist with analysis and evaluation relating to development planning and concept select, including technical, cost, schedule and risk evaluationAdditional duties:Prepare and make written presentations/reports to management, headquarters and team membersAssist members in terms of development planning, project execution, operations and facilities mattersShare knowledge with other team members and contribute to corporate knowledge retention and managementSupport and participate in company or JV Partner HSE and process improvement initiativesMaintain the production database and manage key production and operations data provided from the OperatorsExperience requiredBachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Subsea, Oil and Gas) or a related discipline15+ years in oil and gas E & P industry, LNG preferred but not essentialExperience in Facilities Engineering (essential), for Operator (preferred)If interested in this position, please email your CV
