    Senior Town Planner Job Opportunity

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Town Planner to join our team at Newton Denny Chapelle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage complex planning projects from inception to completion.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies.
    • Provide high-quality accurate advice to clients on planning and development matters.
    • Prepare and review technical reports, including Statements of Environmental Effects and Environmental Impact Statements.
    • Manage specialist consultants and their outputs, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • A tertiary qualification in town planning.
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in town planning, preferably on the north coast of New South Wales.
    • Experience in leading and managing projects, briefing and managing external consultants.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
